This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed with Valhalla Cyclery Pty Ltd, ABN 75 664 514 836, through our website, showroom, or other approved sales channels.

By placing an order with Valhalla Cyclery, you agree to this Shipping Policy, our Terms of Service, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.


1. Shipping within Australia

Valhalla Cyclery ships orders Australia-wide where delivery is reasonably available through our freight and courier partners.

Some remote, regional, oversized, high-risk or restricted delivery locations may require a custom shipping quote or may not be serviceable.

If we cannot ship to your nominated address, we will contact you to discuss available options.


2. Shipping cost

A flat shipping fee of $200 AUD applies to shipped bicycle orders unless otherwise stated at checkout or agreed with us in writing.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • remote or regional delivery locations;

  • oversized or heavy items;

  • multiple-bike orders;

  • special handling requirements;

  • delivery locations not covered by standard freight services.

Any applicable shipping charges will be shown at checkout where available or confirmed with you before your order is finalised.


3. Order processing times

We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of order confirmation, subject to payment clearance, stock availability, order verification and freight collection availability.

Where possible, orders placed before 12:00 pm AEST/AEDT on a business day may be dispatched same day.

Same-day dispatch is not guaranteed. It may not be available for bikes, frames, high-value orders, orders requiring additional checks, large items, custom handling, warehouse availability, public holidays, weekends, or periods of high order volume.

Orders placed after 12:00 pm, on weekends, or on public holidays will usually be processed on the next business day.


4. Shipping confirmation and tracking

Once your order has been packed, booked for shipment or dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email.

Where tracking is available, the email will include tracking details so you can monitor your delivery.

Tracking updates may take some time to appear after your order has been collected or scanned by the courier or freight provider.

If you have not received tracking information within a reasonable time after dispatch confirmation, contact us at valhallacyclery@gmail.com with your order number.


5. Delivery times

Delivery times vary depending on the delivery location, item size, courier or freight provider, and network conditions.

Estimated delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery may be delayed due to:

  • courier or freight network delays;

  • regional or remote delivery access;

  • weather events;

  • public holidays;

  • incorrect or incomplete delivery details;

  • failed delivery attempts;

  • freight depot handling;

  • supplier or warehouse delays;

  • events outside our reasonable control.

Valhalla Cyclery is not liable for shipping delays caused by courier networks, freight providers, weather, incorrect customer details or events outside our control.


6. Delivery address and customer responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information at checkout.

Please ensure your delivery address, phone number and email address are correct before submitting your order.

Valhalla Cyclery is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, redelivery fees, lost items or additional freight costs caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery information supplied by you.

If you notice an error in your delivery details, contact us immediately at valhallacyclery@gmail.com. We will try to update the details before dispatch, but changes may not be possible once the order has been processed, packed, collected or shipped.


7. Bicycle and large-item deliveries

Bicycles, frames and large cycling products may require special handling, larger packaging and freight services.

Depending on the product, bicycles may be shipped boxed, partially assembled, or prepared for transport.

Unless we expressly state that a bike is fully assembled and ready to ride, you should have the bicycle assembled and checked by a qualified bicycle mechanic before use.

This includes checking, where relevant:

  • handlebars;

  • stem and headset;

  • pedals;

  • wheels and axles;

  • brakes;

  • gears;

  • tyres;

  • seatpost and saddle;

  • torque settings;

  • suspension;

  • battery systems;

  • drivetrain and safety-critical components.

Valhalla Cyclery is not responsible for damage, injury, loss or poor performance caused by incorrect assembly, poor maintenance, misuse, unauthorised modification, incompatible components, or failure to obtain a proper safety check.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


8. Authority to leave and missed deliveries

Some courier or freight providers may offer authority-to-leave options.

If you authorise a delivery to be left unattended, you accept the risk of loss, theft or damage after the carrier records the item as delivered, except where the law provides otherwise.

If a delivery attempt fails, the courier or freight provider may leave instructions for redelivery, collection from a depot, or collection from a nominated location.

You may be responsible for redelivery fees, storage fees or return-to-sender charges where delivery fails due to unavailable recipients, incorrect details, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect from a depot within the required timeframe.


9. Risk and delivery

Risk in the product passes to you when the product is delivered to the address you nominated or otherwise collected by you or your authorised representative.

For click-and-collect orders, risk passes to you when the order is collected.

This section does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, unsafe, not as described, or otherwise fail to meet a consumer guarantee.


10. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.

Contact us immediately if:

  • your item arrives damaged;

  • your item is defective;

  • you receive the wrong product;

  • your order is incomplete;

  • the product is not as described;

  • the product appears unsafe or unsuitable for its stated purpose.

Please email valhallacyclery@gmail.com with:

  • your order number;

  • your name and contact details;

  • a description of the issue;

  • photos of the item;

  • photos of the packaging;

  • photos of any visible damage.

Do not dispose of the packaging until the issue has been assessed, as the courier, freight provider or insurer may require packaging photos or inspection.

If the issue is due to our error, freight damage, or a product failure covered by Australian Consumer Law, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, refund or another suitable solution.


11. Returns involving shipped orders

Returns are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

For approved change-of-mind returns, original shipping charges and return shipping costs may not be refundable unless we agree otherwise or are required by law.

A 25% restocking fee applies to approved change-of-mind returns for bikes and frames.

The restocking fee does not apply where the return is required because the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.

If a return is required because of an error on our part, or because the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, we will refund the original purchase price including applicable shipping charges where required by Australian Consumer Law.

Returned items must be approved by us before being sent back.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service with signature on delivery for returns. Valhalla Cyclery is not responsible for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit where you arranged the return shipping.


12. Click and collect

Where available, you may collect your order from our Gold Coast location by arrangement.

You may be required to provide:

  • order confirmation;

  • proof of payment;

  • photo identification;

  • any other reasonable verification requested by us.

Please do not attend the showroom or warehouse for collection unless your collection has been confirmed.


13. Changes to this Shipping Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time by publishing the updated version on our website.

The updated Shipping Policy will apply from the date it is published or from any later date stated in the updated policy.
