I’ve been a cyclist since my teens in the 90’s and started off on a steel bike with down-tube shifters. While the never ending battle against the “dad bod“ rages on I’ve become more obsessed with the bikes themselves rather than race results! My teenage self could never have dreamt how far bikes would evolve in recent decades.

The idea of Valhalla Cyclery began with my own search for a great second hand bike. Navigating your way through many of the online marketplaces can be frustrating for an experienced eye and downright disheartening for a new cyclist. With vague descriptions, wildly varying prices and scammer horror stories littering the landscape I learnt some hard lessons and decided to find a better way!

Providing peace of mind and reassurance is at the forefront of the Valhalla Cyclery ethos. We want to take the risk out of buying secondhand through honest and detailed descriptions of quality bikes that have been thoroughly checked by highly experienced mechanics. This is all the more important when buying your first bike or without personal inspections for interstate customers.
